Features

This program will build upon the knowledge obtained in our Rescue Essentials program. This program will provide students with exposure to a greater range of rescue equipment and techniques in order to address a wider variety of potential scenarios.

The course curriculum consists of practical hands-on learning, as students will be provided ample opportunity to develop their skills in simulated environments.

Course Prerequisite: High Angle Technical Rescue Level 1

  • Level 1 - rope skills and basic knots

  • Belaying and back-up systems

  • Tag lining

  • Descent control devices

  • Deflection lines

  • Victim packaging techniques for raising or lower

  • Rescuer retriever systems
